Vertiglide & Motorized Honeycomb Shades for a Bedroom in West Seattle
First-time homeowners in West Seattle wanted room-darkening shades for the bedroom and an alternative to traditional vertical blinds on the sliding glass door. Coordinating the windows and sliding glass door was important.
We installed Hunter Douglas Applause® Honeycomb Shades with PowerView® Automation and top-down/bottom-up operation on the windows, paired with a Vertiglide® vertical honeycomb shade on the sliding glass door. The combination supports privacy, light control, and easier access to the deck.
The new honeycomb shades create a coordinated look across the windows and door while providing flexible room darkening and a compact profile when opened.
