Motorized LightLock Honeycomb Shades for Bedrooms in Seattle
Returning Magnolia clients wanted stronger room darkening in their bedrooms while preserving daytime privacy and views. Their integrated smart home also made automated operation an important part of the project.
We installed Hunter Douglas Duette® Architella® LightLock® shades for room darkening paired with light-filtering honeycomb shades for daytime privacy, both with PowerView® Automation. LightLock® side and bottom channels reduce light seepage, while top-down/bottom-up operation and the PowerView® Gateway enable scenes that coordinate with daily routines.
The finished bedroom provides stronger room darkening, flexible privacy, outdoor views, and automated control within a window covering system designed around the homeowners' routines.
