Motorized Honeycomb Shades for View Bedroom in Madrona, Seattle
A remodeled Madrona bedroom with French doors and a sidelight needed room darkening without permanently covering the Lake Washington view. Convenient operation across the alcove and minimal profile was also important.
We installed motorized Hunter Douglas Duette® Architella® honeycomb shades with PowerView® Automation. The room-darkening fabric improves light control, while the compact stack keeps the view of the lake when raised. Automation simplifies daily operation across the different openings.
The new shades complemented the updated bedroom while supporting stronger room darkening when needed, and preserving the lake view and when the shades are open.
