Motorized Blackout Shades for Bedrooms & Skylights in Seattle
A new Beacon Hill townhome had a bedroom with many windows and close neighboring homes, plus a loft with skylights. The homeowner wanted room darkening, privacy, natural light, and convenient motorized control.
We installed Hunter Douglas Duette® Architella® honeycomb shades with PowerView® Automation in the bedroom, using top-down/bottom-up operation for flexible privacy and daylight. Motorized honeycomb shades were also installed on the hard-to-reach skylights in the loft used as an office for easier operation.
The finished shades improve privacy, room darkening, and everyday light control while giving both the bedroom and loft convenient, motorized operation.
